christmas morning, 5:30am - baking lussekatter

Every Christmas morning I get up at 5:30am to make breakfast for my family - it used to be cranberry pannetone, but the last few years it has been lussekatter, swedish saffron bread.

They actually 'rose' (rised?) so much this time that the dried cranberries popped out of them! They are usually in a scroll shape but ended up slightly long this time round. Still tasted fantastic though!
