Its been a very full and satisfying week! Thankyou all so much for your absolutely lovely words and congratulations on my last post - I am absolutely thrilled. It was also fantastic to find out my cholesterol levels and various other things (including that I am quite seriously deficient in Vitamin D - I probably could have guessed at that one though LOL)
I was in Sydney for a seminar yesterday morning - and treated myself to breakfast at ikou, yum!
I took my brother out for lunch at the Snag Stand in the new Westfields food court - loved it! The menu was a bit dizzying, and I cannot wait to go back again
Meet my sister's cat Boo, now living with my parents - isn't he gorgeous? He is absolutely gigantic too. If he had the tufty ears and long fluffy coat, he could be a Maine Coon!
Have you ever seen a cat lie like this? Cracks me up
Clever little me managed to shut my finger in a doorjamb at work last week - still hurts like buggery. If the nail falls off I am going to scream!
I treated myself to a big bunch of flowers yesterday to celebrate my needle-victory - I dithered in the flowershop for a good 15 minutes, tossing up between the peonies and david austen roses, but settled on these gorgeous hydrangeas
The world's best ice lemon tea from lee&me!
Flowers, a Glasshouse scented candle and a glass of Wither Hills savignon blanc - perfection
Jade in repose, hogging the tv remote

Happy snaps, love it! (oh, besides the nail - ouch!) I have hydrangeas in my house right now too :)

I love hydrangeas (and a huge CONGRATULATIONS on your needle victory, it was so inspiring to read about!). I hope your weekend continues to be fantastic and as lovely as it looks in these photos! x
ReplyDeleteSo, hi, here's my first comment! :)
ReplyDeleteThat breakfast looks delish!
When I saw the hydrangeas, all I could think of was Madonna - "I absolutely loathe hydrangeas. He obviously doesn't know that."
Strange lady... They're gorgeous! :)
Your cat pics always bring a smile to my face! :)
ReplyDeleteI have been inspired by you to get some pretty candles. currently lusting after the Peter Alexander ones.
