It's all a bit less organised, a bit more hectic, doing the seasonal-joy thing with an infant, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to enjoy every Christmassy minute of the next few weeks! Gifts are being chosen and purchased, menus planned, and decorations sloooowly going up. We'll get there!
Cannot wait to decorate this gingerbread house with the kiddies! Might need to get someone else to supervise the building, my effort last Christmas wasn't exactly structurally sound!
We ventured up to Sydney with the bebe this week, to get some Christmas shopping done, and meet Santa of course!
Love this time of year!
Still have lots of food prep and cooking to get onto, and a few remaining gifts to pick up (and some being posted - fingers and toes they make it in time for Christmas Day!), and some cards to be mailed out. I've ordered a hamper and panettone from The Grounds and cannot wait for them to be delivered! How is your Christmas prep going?
I LOVE those Filled With Joy bags! Did you buy them online? I would love a link - if possible!
ReplyDeleteI bought them in store at Kikki K but they have them online also - http://www.kikki-k.com/goodie-bags-10pk-sml-jul
DeleteI'm so excited for all the festivites this year! This is my second Christmas in San Francisco and it seems it's completely acceptable to start celebrating the Christmas season a few weeks before Thanksgiving. It's so lovely, although I little weird to enjoy a cold Christmas again. I'm really craving pavlova and a good mango!
ReplyDeleteEvelyn looks so calm with Santa! Gorgeous x
I have always wanted to experience a true white Christmas - they do seem to go all out in America! One day :)
DeleteIt's the same Santa at QVB as it was in 2011 for Abi's first Christmas! I remember him being really lovely!
ReplyDeleteOh wow how cool that its the same one! He was such a lovely guy :) Almost made me believe in Santa a little bit hehe
DeleteMAybe it really is the real Santa ;-)

DeleteGood luck with the ginerbread house! I made one last year and although it looked pretty good (even if I do say so myself), it didnt taste very nice!
ReplyDeleteThe Tiffany's tree is lovely, I saw a similar one the other day when I was trying to drag my other half in there! ha ha ha
Lovely pictures.. especially the cute Santa one. Hope you're enjoying your maternity leave still, looks like you are!
Take care.
