blackcurrant cordial and flowers...

I first fell in love with the idea of coloured tights after seeing them styled by the lovely Rebecca over at The Clothes Horse - I just adore that pop of brightness and fun that coloured tights can lend an outfit.

Luckily for me, Voodoo tights seem to produce several fantastic shades every winter - these are my latest favourites, in the shade 'blackcurrant cordial'.

Gotta love how warm tights can extend the life of my cute little floral skirts and summery dresses right through into winter!

I have a real thing for brooches, especially those in the shape of animals - I found this mirrored horse brooch online at About a Girl.

MinkPink floral skirt
Country Road over-size tee
Supre cardigan
Voodoo tights
Country Road cable knit beanie
Fuzz Designs mirrored horse brooch
Tony Bianco flats
Jag leather tote

I only just noticed that our window is reflected in my horse brooch! Tres arty! haha

I also want to give a quick shout-out to all of you lovely people who wrote such sweet, supportive comments on my last post - much love to you all, you are all amazing!

Happy Sunday to you all!
xoxo

  1. I've never done colored tights, I'm tempted too but feel like my legs would look like something out of Alice In Wonderland.

All the bloggers I've seen, including yourself look so lovely in them.

Perhaps one day I'll take the leap!

  2. Love the coloured tights C! They look gorgeous :) I have a pair of blue/purple tights from Leona Edmiston that I've never worn, I'm currently mulling over outfits I can wear them with tomorrow :) Hope you have a lovely week!

  3. I too love coloured tights. You have inspired me for tomorrow's outfit.
And I adore brooches. I had a horse pendant like yours, but its tail broke and I'm wanting another!

  7. That brooch is so gorgeous! I love how they can really become a statement piece. I have to wear a name badge at work so always feel like a brooch is just too much pinned to my top. Will need to make it weekend feature!
