its beginning to look a lot like christmas...

Today, V and I had planned to go visit the local Christmas Tree farm and pick ourselves out a Christmas tree - and then spend the evening decorating it, whilst drinking eggnog etc. But the icky weather we've been having soon put paid to that idea! To compensate, and to keep the Christmas spirit alive, I spent the afternoon decorating the house a bit - and I thought I might share some photos...

Our wreath - I love that it jingles whenever the door opens and closes

The china cabinet, all decked out Christmas-style!

I was going for a sort of Nordic Christmas theme...

How unbelievably gorgeous are these little paper angel decorations? I love them!

This is about the most craft-y I get !! I think it looks a lot better in real life than it does in this photo

Although I should add, I did make this advent calender - 3 years on and I'm still impressed with myself! Took me an entire week LOL

Our snowflake window light - so pretty!

I hope you have all been enjoying the weekend!
xoxo

  2. Beautiful! I have been very lax in the decorative arts this year - I haven't felt the urge given we are away for 2 weeks over Christmas...

  3. What a gorgeous wreath! I wish I could get a nice one but I'm too afraid it will get pinched by other residents of my apartment building...

Can't wait to see pics of your tree when you get one!
