uncle vanya..

I am still on a delirious high - today I saw a matinee performance of Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, performed by the Sydney Theatre Company

It was beyond amazing - the entire cast were absolutely fantastic. The character of Vanya has always been so pitiful to me, and Richard Roxbourough's rendition of this melancholy, depressed man brought me to tears

I did harbour hopes of hanging around outside the stage door to ambush the cast (hey, I managed to catch Hugo Weaving once after seeing him in a Stoppard play!) But our parking meter was ticking and we had to leave. Pity, I would have killed for a photo with Cate Blanchett! The woman is my idol

A (sort-of) outfit repeat today...

Ignore the garage door in the background there!

Seed tunic dress
Tony Bianco heels
Jag bag with Oroton scarf
Cotton On sunglasses
Mimco bow clip

I hope you are all having a lovely week!

  4. You're rocking the red lips here, lady! Very jealous of you seeing Uncle Vanya. And I completely agree about Cate Blanchett! Stunning. In every way.
