the queensland floods...

12 dead, 51 missing - grave fears held for 9...

My thoughts are with all those in Queensland and Brisbane right now - the ferocity of the flooding, and the scale of the disaster, is truly devastating

As many other bloggers have now done, I want to ask all my readers, if you are able, to consider donating to the flood relief appeal here - some people have lost absolutely everything, and every donation makes a difference

    I saw that photo online today.
    Just terrible what's happening up there.

    We donated on Sunday when the telethon was on.

    I'm so heartbroken... can't watch the news anymore. I've organized a morning tea at work with a gold coin donation premise... I hope lots of people come. I feel like it's all that I can do. Sigh....
