This week seemed unnaturally long - many things happened, maybe that's why...
Shoes were purchased - reduced from $89.95 to $49.95. And then a gift voucher was used. Total cost to me = $0. Score!
Many nom-ilicious salads were eaten - this one is pan-grilled haloumi on mixed leaves with nectarines and a balsamic vinaigrette...
And almond magnums were consumed...
Jade says hai! from the depths of a food-coma...
I had a bit of a killer week at work - in the bad sense unfortunately. The tipping point was a rather interesting phonecall on Thursday from the psychologist of a client - don't think I've ever heard the work "fuck" used so many times in the space of 10 minutes! I came out of that one shaking. So I decided to console myself with a little bit of soothing nailpolish shopping in my lunchbreak...
This is OPI Over the Taupe and OPI Quarter of a Cent-Cherry
And THIS is Quarter of a Cent-Cherry in action - nice deep burgundy-red shade, love!
Today we went out for brekky to celebrate the weekend, Cate&V and lee&me style!
Slightly bemused expression - quit pointing that camera at mah face!
Mmmmmm granola-ish goodness - the natural greek yoghurt sweetened with just a little honey is the best!
V got creative and had the roll...
This little tunic-dress style arrangement was picked up in the sales also - anything gray and drape-y gets my vote, and as for the pockets, I die!
♥ Country Road silk shift dress
♥ Eleventh Commandment tunic
♥ Tony Bianco sandals
♥ Cotton On sunglasses
♥ Jag bag and Oroton silk scarf
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend!
xoxo
I saw those ballet flats at Westfield Bondi Junction yesterday and couldn't decide between the metallic purple or silver like your pair above. so I left ;p might go back for another look now! lovely polish too =)

Lovely shoes and polish! I don't have Quarter of a Cent-cherry, I might have to get it! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat an awful phonecall :( glad you got some retail therapy afterwards. Its strange, but it really helps! (well, I think it does anyway! ahah). That granola looks delish! I really should get into ordering mueslis and things when ever I go out for brekky, I'm such a pancakes or bacon & eggs person!
ReplyDeleteHope youre having a lovely weekend! x
I tried on those exact shoes! Hahaha But they didn't fit. I loved them in the pinky shades too! Enjoy them for me :D

ReplyDeleteI love Quarter of a Cent Cherry, it's one of my favourites :) it's a dark burgandy inside but bright red in the sunshine! Nice outfit too.
ReplyDeleteGlad your week is well and truly over!
ReplyDeleteJade seems to sleep in some very unusual positions, just like Mildred!
Love the OPI Over The Taupe - it looks very similar to the Nine West one I have...the colour looks killer if you have any leopard print clothes, bags, shoes etc! x
