its not a pretty sight, people!
Poor V is a bit shaken up - the motorbike rider flew right off and landed on the tray of the ute! Thank goodness V and the other guy are both fine. And luckily for us, a police officer saw the whole thing and came over and gave V his details, and said to call him if the Insurer give him any grief re: fault (he even asked V if he wanted the other driver charged with speeding and dangerous driving! V said no)
All's well that ends well - cars and bikes can be repaired, people are not so fixable

Oh my goodness how awful! Crashes with motorbikes can go VERY badly so both the rider and V are really lucky. When I was younger we had a crash with a guy on a Harly in the countryside and the rider got so many broken bones.

Thankyou all so much for your concern and kind words - we are still both a little shell-shocked, and very much aware of how badly it could have gone. V is still freaked out by it - when it first happened, he truly believed the rider had died. So, so scary
