brought to you by the blogger app...

This long weekend, I have mourned the passing of my beloved, long-suffering laptop - this blog post is coming courtesy of the combined talents of my Blogger app and my iPhone, so I must apologise in advance for any formatting dodginess! (well, above and beyond the usual anyway). Until I can get myself into the Mac store during the week, I may be slightly incommunicado for a wee while. Such is life!

Said sad event aside, it has been such a lovely, relaxing weekend, and I am very sad to see it draw to a close. V has been home, which is fantastic, and we have spent the time chilling out together, walking down at the beach, being with family, baking, celebrating first birthdays, and generally eating far too much good food and easter chocolate.

The bump continues to bump along merrily, causing me so few "symptoms" that I am looking forward to my morph scan this week to reassure myself that they are still snugly tucked away in there! Some days I feel maybe I'm just gaining a bit if weight around the stomach and, er, breastal region. At nearly 19weeks I had expected to feel a bit of movement by now - not sure when this will start?

Anyway, enough rambling. I'm off for an essential coffee-and-groceries run. Hope the easter bunny was good to you all!
xoxo

    1. LOVE the Women's Weekly birthday cake book! My sister did a darn good job I think - ducks being flavor of the month with my niece.
Lindt bunnies are the bestest. Hope you had a lovely Easter x

  2. Looks like a lovely Easter

I randomly remembered reading ages ago on Vf that v would change his name to your surname if you had kids. Just noisily wondering if he will be now? X

    1. Teehee noisy/nosy
We haven't really discussed him changing his name recently - bub will definitely have my surname, which V wholeheartedly advocates for (many people express many tones of surprise when told this LOL) But I kind of like his full name on reflection - it would be strange to think of him as anything other than "VR". It's totally his call, but I am kinda hoping he decides to leave as is.
Hope you had a lovely Easter Hun x

    2. Fair enough! Awesome that the baby will have your surname as that very rarely happens.

    1. Thanks gorgeous! Haha breastal is about the only polite way to describe it, for someone as normally-weeny as me it has been incredibly disconcerting! I feel somewhat indecent haha
I am so excited about the scan (and confirming the gender of our bump! eee!) x

  8. Good luck at your scan. I'm sure you will be getting kicked in the ribs in no time at all! Annoying re your computer ... I've been dealing with no sound on our computer for over 2 years - such is lack of technological skills / and or motivation to get it fixed. I'm thinking an Apple laptop next time.

    1. Oh gosh I hear you - my idea of fixing anything technological is to turn it off and on again, yell at it, then yell for V haha. Definitely go an Apple next time, they are pretty darn awesome
Hope you had a wonderful Easter! x

    1. Haha no just one in there, it was the first question I asked the sonographer when I had my first scan! There are twins in my dad's family and I was a tad freaked xx

  10. Mmm Lindt bunnies. Hehe to growth in the breastal region - being petite in that area myself I too was overwhelmed. I think I felt my babies moving around 20-22 weeks & recall the absolute joy.
