today is a day for...

Coffee and cousin shenanigans at the beach...

Roshes and stripes and the comfiest, most worn-in pair of ripped denim jeans...

Loads of washing while the wind picks up, and before the rain hits...

Half a lamb shoulder slow cooking away...

Pots of fresh coffee while the kiddo sleeps.

Happy Sunday
xoxo

  1. I've never used the slow cooker for anything that wasn't completely covered by a sauce / liquid. How do you do your lamb shoulder in it? Also, I'm so glad this time you posted a picture of your clothesline I could see the brand. A foldable hills hoist is about the best idea ever and I think would be way better than any clothes airer. Definitely something to invest in for our next house (January latest hopefully)!

    1. Hey Hun, I actually borrowed Mamacitatime's Harissa lamb shoulder recipe :) Covered in Harissa, lemon juice and rind, garlic and olive oil, because lamb is fairly fatty it doesn't dry out. That little folding clothesline is the BEST thing ever! We got it from our local camping supply store xx

    1. Mountains on one side, ocean on the other, what's not to love? You obviously have never lived in inner-central Sydney or similar ;) I'm glad you are used to leafy climes and spectacular vistas, some of us aren't so fortunate.

  4. I guess the mountains and ocean are hard to see past the depressing estate of cookie cutter units built cheek by jowl to the left and the concrete box to the right. Concrete coastlines are hardly comparable to inner city living. It is indeed unfortunate.

    1. But it's such a soothing shade of concrete!
If it displeases you, I guess it's lucky you don't have to look at it every day! If it displeases you to see it on my blog, you could also not look at it - just a suggestion? ;)
