Seriously big cup of seriously good coffee!
Banana ricotta hotcakes served with fresh strawberries, sweetened ricotta and maple syrup.
V had "the roll" - cheesy scrambled eggs, bacon, roast tomato and baby spinach leaves on a damper roll.
We had fun people-watching (saw Virginia Gray of All Saints fame drinking a skinny latte at the communal table), and explained to the American backpackers at the table next to ours what the "smashed chats" on the menu were (for the uninitiated, they are little chat potatoes roasted and sort of smooshed, very yummy!)
Happy Sunday!

ReplyDeleteYou've got a real talent for the ol' food photography you know, any attempts I make always look, well, rather unappealing!

Pancakes..omg! Yummy yummy! I am heading to Canberra this weekend for 1 day (have to fly to the Malaysian consulate IN PERSON in order to apply for a police clearance...so very silly) so hopefully I get to eat yummy food like you did!
ReplyDeleteMy bf's mom actually mentioned the Paris masterpieces exhibition to me...she's an artist and initially, she wanted to come along. But I guess 1 day is too short for her.
