baby shower...

Today, V and I were invited to the babyshower of our good friend A - she and her husband are expecting a little bubba in July, and we were thrilled to share their special day with them!

The shower was held at a gorgeous property on the Shoalhaven river...

A taking a photo of me taking a photo of her - trippy! haha

The gorgeous guest of honour - this girl makes pregnancy look HAWT people!

Little chicken and asparagus pies...

Smoked salmon, cream cheese and chive rolled sandwiches - how adorable are the little tags?

A made the yummiest little cupcakes topped with jam and cream...

I made a baby shower cake - marble with strawberry icing!

Little sweets for the guests to take home...

Presents for the game winners! I got some cute little packs from Lush

I totally fell in love with the house and gardens - love the little old birdbath!

I discovered the kittycat, Misty, under the verandah...

She was playing shy, but like having her ears scratched...

The beautiful bathroom, complete with Tiffany duck-egg blue claw-foot bath...

Amazingly gorgeous canopy bed...

The back verandah - I adore the loveheart metal sculpture

I dressed up pretty in my Peter Alexander chiffon ruffled dress...

A hung cute little cranes along the road leading to the house, so everyone could find the way - how sweet does it look?

Hope you all had lovely weekends!
xoxo

  2. This looks like the most amazing day, every detail has been catered too. I love the peachy pink hue of your dress, it goes beautifully with our hair - like gorgeous Autumn colours. Thank you so much for your kind comment, you must understand completely. Terrifying doesn't even begin to explain it. I like to think I own the cancer now, instead of it owning me. Especially with nursing cancer patients everyday, I've turned it into a blessing instead of a curse. SO, so glad your mum is ok. Happy mother's day. ♥

  8. I made some marbled mini teacakes to bring to work this weekend and iced them EXACTLY like your marble cake, with pink icing and the same little sugar flowers on top. How uncanny! It looks delicious by the way, and what a beautiful house - I'm in love with that bathtub.
