luffing life...

Despite an overly busy and often stressful past few weeks, its been good times of late in the KittyCate household. Life has been good, and I am very grateful. Despite V's continued absence for work, he is expected back next week, and I cannot wait! Already planning his homecoming dinner

Packed up and sent off a birthday gift to a lovely friend this week - isn't it easy buying for people with similar tastes to yours?

I have been receiving some truly spectacular spam the past few weeks! Spamtastic! Green eggs and spam! Shall I go on? Some of them are so hilarious that I almost want to publish them for a laugh. Are they actually written by real people, or are they computer-generated?
Witness the hilarity:
"I've read a few excellent stuff here. Definitely value bookmarking for revisting. I surprise how much effort you put to make this kind of magnificent informative website."
Has anyone else in the Blogosphere been experiencing this?

On that note, I had a comment last week accusing me of trying to write like Faux Fuchsia, and not "staying true" to my own writing style. Having read the post in question several times, I can only assume it was because I used the word "luffing"? Quelle horreur!
Well, you know what they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and I make no secret of the fact that I am a FF Fan. I guess some Faux Fuchsia-isms have simply entered the popular blogging lexicon!

In other news - our household is expecting a new addition sometime towards the end of August

I am nearly 4 months along - this photo was taken several weeks ago, so the bump has increased somewhat since then, but selfies are just plain impossible when your official photographer *ahem* husband is away

Drinking my mineral water from a champagne flute does help somewhat - sort of

I have been switching sushi for bento boxes...

And coffee for tea - sometimes haha. I'll never quite kick that habit I'm afraid!

Remember this post? And this one? Well, this happened the other week. Another FIGJAM moment. Oh yeah. Figured I'd better get used to it, lots more to come from hereon in!

The ballet continues unabated - much to my joy, I've been able to attend 3 classes a week, when I can get to them - thanks Miss M and Miss K for putting on some extra classes for us ballet-mad crazies! haha

Extreme sookiness from this one lately, along with a weird obsession with lying right on my stomach - she cries if I push her off! I'll be complaining less when the weather gets a lot cooler

How insanely cute is this little treat from the weekly produce markets? These guys have the BEST homemade goodies, seriously, seriously good

Nommmmmy victoria sponge with cream and berries - and the little packet of english breakfast tea, nawwww!

Enjoyed a good coffee and banana bread, and a luffly chat with my sister today - hanging out with my niece is both exciting and scary for things to come! heh

Embrace the Faux Fuchsia-isms people
xoxo

  12. Congratulations. Hope your pregnancy has been treating you well and you aren't getting too much morning sickness.
My school friend suffered from trypanophobia too. She passed out during school injections. She has overcome it now though.
As for FF-isms.... A lot of people use the term "luffing" and 11/10 etc etc. Geez, people are silly.
    Take care of yourself.
