'Twas my birthday last Monday, yew! Two birthday cakes certainly made the day more enjoyable than your average Monday. Some lovely girlfriends took me out for a chocolate feast at San Churro. I was very spoiled!
V took me for a lovely weekend away in the Blue Mountains, a bit of a belated birthday celebration. There's something just so magical about the Mountains when it's cold and a bit drizzly!
Walked the Three Sisters, shopped it up in Leura, enjoyed the lovely open fireplace at our accommodation - goodies from Ikou were put to good use in the spa bath! Brekky at Red Door cafe on Sunday, worth the wait for a table - best French toast evah!
I hope the weekend was good to you all - are you all staying warm and dry this week? Today was nothing short of torrential in my neck of the woods! The kittehs send their best regard - they have the right idea in this weather!

ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a wonderful, relaxing birthday weekend!! The Blue Mountains is such a nice place for an escape- I was there a few days ago & remember passing that Ikou store in Leura, it looked so tempting! I bet the candle smells divine :) xx
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday. I think cake becomes even more important for celebrations when you're pregnant. If you can't have champagne and soft cheese, at least you can still have cake (although not judging if you do drink champagne/ eat soft cheese!).
