what's in my bag...

I have taken to carrying my large Longchamps le pliage tote as my day-to-day bag, separate to my Oroton baby bag. I wanted my own separate identity, inasmuch as you can get that from a handbag! Plus, it was getting super frustrating whenever I left Evelyn with V or my mum, along with the nappy bag, and had to schlep a handful of mobile/wallet/keys with me, and always inevitably forgot something. The above is life in a snapshot, all my daily essentials.

Were this a "What's in my nappy bag" post the above photo would be much more cluttered 😂

What's in my bag? Ray Ban sunglasses (prescription!), Burberry glasses case (the glasses being on my face haha), lip balm car keys/house keys, nametag from the library (with my name misspelt), eye drops, Shanghai Suzie lipstick, hand sanitizer (mummy essential!), comb, pen, Country Road pouch (aka small change purse), Oroton wallet (somewhat battered since Evie likes to chew on it haha)

What are your handbag essentials?
xoxo

  1. I have prescription Ray Bans too. Love them. I also love it when people ask to try them on (or just grab them at a BBQ when they've left theirs somewhere) and they can't work out why their vision has gone funny.

  2. I'm so nosey, I love looking in other people's handbags, so I think this a great post, hahaha! Mine always has my wallet, diary, pen, glasses, hand sanitiser and a make-up pouch stocked with a survival kit- tissues, panadol, mini sewing kit, hair ties, bobby pins, lip balm & make up. I like to be prepared :)

  3. Another one here who loves "what's in my bag" posts! I'll probably end up doing a blog post like this too now that I have a blog of my own. My bag contents is different depending on whether I'm at work or at home with the toddler.
